It might sound nuts, but we wake up every day energized and excited to help our friends in High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, and beyond keep their smiles healthy and happy. Here at Relax Dental, we go out of our way to make our patients feel comfortable during cleanings, checkups, and fillings. We’ll never judge you if it’s been a while since your last cleaning—we know you’re busy, and we’re just thrilled to be able to offer our expert and compassionate care! What Is the Difference between a General Dentist and a Family General Dentist?

Any licensed dentist who has met the qualifications of the state they are practicing in and has obtained a license through their state dental board qualifies to practice general dentistry. A general dentist cannot declare themself a specialist, but they may limit their practice to an area that they have expertise in. Whether a dentist chooses to only practice general dentistry decides to offer cosmetic dentistry or implant dentistry, it is our obligation to make sure the services we provide are done at the standard of care for that particular’service.

Family general dentistry is a term used by general dentists to indicate that they accommodate all family members—from pediatrics all the way to our most senior patients.

All Relax Dental offices practice Family General Dentistry, and we welcome everyone! In addition to Family General Dentistry, we also offer a number of specialized dental services in the Triad, including:

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is perfect for patients who are trying to fill in gaps between teeth, improve or correct an improper bite, replace missing teeth, or prevent the loss of a tooth. Through modern dental technology, we are able to restore even the most neglected mouth back to its original beauty.

IV Sedation Dentistry

IV sedation dentistry is designed to help patients relax while undergoing long or uncomfortable dental procedures. Relax Dental’s own Dr. Bonnick is a leading expert in the field of IV sedation dentistry; his exceptional interest in the advancement of conscious sedation dentistry makes him a great resource right here in the North Carolina.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry includes anything from tooth-colored fillings to crowns to veneers. The dental experts at Relax have helped hundreds of patients restore their smiles through cosmetic dentistry. Contact our High Point Cosmetic Dentistry Practice at (366) 841-0000 to learn more about cosmetic dental procedures that might work for you.

Give our North Carolina general dentistry practice a call at (336) 841-0000 to arrange an evaluation for any of the above services. Want to check out or facilities from the comfort of your home before scheduling a visit? Visit us with our virtual tour technology!
