During a time when many businesses are cutting back, one North Carolina family dentist is reaching out. Bertrand Bonnick, DDS, has recently announced that he’ll be hosting “Dentistry with Love,” an event that provides free dental treatment to those who need it most.
Greensboro, NC – February 1, 2012 – Even though the unemployment rate is decreasing, there are still many people in the area who are suffering from inadequate medical care because of financial situations. For the third annual event, two dentists have decided to help those who have lost everything by providing a day of free dental care.
From 7am to 3 p.m. on February 10, 2012 Dr. Bertrand Bonnick’s office will host an event called “Dentistry with Love.” The purpose of the event is to provide free dentistry to patients who have recently lost a job and are not covered under Medicaid or insurance plans.
At the event, patients can receive a free filling, cleaning, or extraction. Treatments are by appointment only. Those eligible for the program include Dr. Bonnick’s patients as well as individuals referred by the Guilford County Adult Dental Program, House of Prayer and many others. Currently there are still appointments available; they are on a first call first schedule basis.
“In this world, you have people who’ve helped you at times when you were really down,” said Dr. Bonnick. “We wanted to take this opportunity to show that same compassion.”
Joining Dr. Bonnick will be Dr. Robert Kreigsman. Dr. Kreigsman has been practicing general dentistry since 1960 and is a member of the Southern Occlusal Society. Like Dr. Bonnick, he has been involved in mission work around the world.
Dr. Bonnick’s office is located at 2783 Hwy. 68 South, Greensboro, NC. To find out if you’re eligible for treatment at the “Dentistry with Love” event, call Dr. Bonnick’s office at 336-841-0000.
